DEREK ROSS |
|
Derek began his
insurance career in 1990 working for
an independent insurance broker that
specialized in insuring high valued
exotic vehicles. After graduating
from college in Santa Barbara where
he majored in Psychology, Derek
began his career as an independent
insurance broker.
In April of 2000, Derek joined C. M.
Meiers Company, where he has helped
to create a new vision and a
positive working environment leading
into the new millennium. Since that
time, C. M. Meiers Company has
reached out nationally and is
recognized for its vast array
strengths.
On a daily basis, Derek works with
his clients to create unique
insurance strategies in order to
protect their assets. Providing risk
management and developing exclusive
insurance products are his regular
daily duties. "Find a niche and
Derek will put together a program
for it."
Derek strives to support C. M.
Meiers Company in order to keep it
one of the most respected insurance
brokerage's in the country.
Derek is a Past President for the
Independent Brokers and Agents of
the San Fernando Valley (IBA SFV)
where he has served on the board
since 1999. Other professional
interests include: Volunteer In
Policing (V.I.P), Disaster
Assistance Response Team (D.A.R.T)
and Community Emergency Response
Team (C.E.R.T.) for the Ventura
County Fire/Sheriffs Department and
Thousand Oaks Police Department.
When not in the office, you can find
Derek at westward beach or competing
in any athletic event in Southern
California. Derek even achieved a
long time personal goal in 2006, by
becoming a Certified Personal
Trainer.
Derek lives in Oak Park with his
best friend and wife, Lauren, along
with their five-year-old golden
retriever, Gryff. |
